They also contain numerous amino acids like arginine- the amino acid that helps enhance blood flow and help you maintain optimal blood pressure. - HORMONE CYCLE BALANCE: The gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) in hemp seeds produces prostaglandin E1, which reduces the effects of the hormone prolactin- a hormone made by the pituitary gland. GLA in hemp seeds may also help reduce the symptoms of menopause.
